I liked the format of vital gear angled sights and have killed with them but I finally quit because: Althought the design is great their sights are composed of the cheapest and most damage prone plastic known to man. 2. The fiber optics are on plasstic rods which seem to bend on their own.3. It costs $100 bucks to re wrap their fiber optics which fade within a year. (i JUST DID THIS) 4. their fiber wroap is totally unprotected and breaks very easily. 5. they are an expensive sight. 6. They are so flimsy I have to resight my bow almost weekly. 7. They have absolutely no vetical screw adjustment. 8. A REAL GOOD IDEA SPOILED BY HORRIBLE ENGINEERING AND QUALITY CONTROL!

Sounds like someone has an axe to grind?

The pins are METAL, and both VBG sights I have are bulletproof. Milestones calendar for mac 2017. The fibers are several years old, and STILL glow in the dark just from absorbing natural light while on an afternoon hunt. How many other companies do that?

Rewrapping costs $15 per pin, so unless you are shooting a 7 pin angled sight (which they don't make) your rewrap didn't cost anywhere near that.

I think they are some of the very BEST designed and engineered sights on the market. I have both the 3 and 5 pin angled fixed pin sights, and they are both going strong. The fibers are exposed, but that is what helps make them bright. Get a $5 sight cover for the walk in, and problem solved. 95% of the sights on the market have fibers wrapped the same way, only they aren't NEAR as bright.

I can't imagine EVER needing a sight light with these things. If I could see my peep, I could shoot in a pitch black night setting no problem, they literally glow in the dark.

I have always been treated nicely and promptly by this company, and I will continue to shoot their products for years to come.

Just send them back to the factory which is now in ILL

They will work to make you happy

I have had the same VBG Star Track Pivot sight on my Bow for over 100 hunts and it killed most of the stuff it was aimed at.

I am sure they will replace it with some new products

Just imagine how good it would be if the vital gear sight was made in Germany. I would't be writing this now.

I just sold my vital gear sight because it was the most un-user friendly sight I had ever used.

There was basically no micro pin adjustment to the sight.

I'd move the ring to where the arrow was hitting and then go to tighten everything up and the pin would move.

It was like you were supposed to shot with the pins at the predetermined gaps from the factory.

I have 4 of there older straight pin sights 2-3 pin and 2-5-pin . I have sent 2 of them back to them and they re-wrapped and sent them back at no charge. They are one of the best sights money can buy.

I have owned 2 VBG sights over the past few years and there is not another sight made that is as bright period. My friend has a spot hogg which is very good, but not as bright and 2x the price. A friend in the 'business' sent my the new Sure Loc sight which retails for over $250 and guess what not as bright. I do agree VBG needs to come out with micro adjustments and maybe floating pins, but they still make a great product. Anyone in the market for the Sure Loc? I will be putting it up for sale.

i loved the brightness and the glow in the dark feature too. too bad someone can't meld all of the best qualities of these sights into one great sight.

I've shot Montana Black Gold sights for years. They are bright enough to see the pin before legal shooting light, quality construction with quality materials, and they have a no questions asked lifetime guarantee. Who did the testing to determine that Vital Gear has the brightest sight? Just wondering.

customer service is excellent with vital gear I bought the 5 pin pentagon used on ebay and was missing some srews,I called them on the phone they sent out a screw kit at no charge to me at all, sights are durable very very bright could use a micro adjust I agree but other than that great product made in USA If you are the original purchaser of your sight and break the fiber optic I was told by them they will rewrap it free all you pay is shipping ,if you are not the original purchaser it is 15 bucks for first pin wrap then 10 bucks after that.If you are resighting your bow every week you may have another problem,is your string streching? rest moving? knocking point moving? peep moving? ETC. I hate to hear you do not like them as my dealings with them has been top notch as others I know also have had no problems, before bashing them have you tried to contact them and let them know of your problems? if not you should try that first and at least give them the chance to make it right,If they cant fix your problem then by all means bash them if you feel the need..
