Linking Through the Ages

Linking Through the Ages is an in-game guidebook for Mystcraft, since Mystcraft does not currently have one. There is an additional volume (obtainable as loot) that explains the Narayani symbols found on Mystcraft's various page.

Mystcraft BoP Disabler

Mystcraft BoP Disabler disables the pages Mystcraft generated for Biomes o' Plenty biomes. Those biomes currently come out flat in Mystcraft Ages, but are otherwise functional, so this mod is cosmetic only. (This is only true for Minecraft version 1.12.2, BoP biomes generate properly in Minecraft 1.7.10 and earlier.)

Client crash when entering Mystcraft age (1.7.10)

Craftpresence ver: CraftPresence-1.7.10-1.4.9.9.jar

Mystcraft ver: mystcraft-1.7.10-0.12.3.04

I think the problem is either due to the way Mystcraft generates new dimensions, or how your mod detects dimensions. Not entirely sure which. However the crash is resolved by disabling CraftPresence.

The error

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Could not get provider type for dimension 1210950779, does not exist

references the IDs listed in Mystcraft's core.cfg on lines 37 and 38:

The dimension ID that my player was entering was 2, with the name 'Random Age', but the crash references this dim_provider ID.

While Mystcraft 1.7.10 is no longer being updated, I see that CraftPresence for older versions of MC still is. I'm unsure if this crash is affecting later MC versions with the same combination of mods. Not sure if there is some workaround that can be implemented to just prevent the client crash and return some kind of generic dimension result, but whether it can be fixed or not I figured you would want to know about it regardless.

I will be reporting this on Mystcraft's issue tracker as well in case it is still an issue in the current version, and will provide a link to that bug report as well in case you two want to work together to sort out the issue.
