    I have the MC command center mod but I'm not sure how to temporarily disable story progression like marriage and pregnancy.
    How do I disable it and enable it later on?

    From a live lot, you'd use a computer to bring up MC's UI. Most of the settings you're going to want to look at are under mc_pregnancy (includes marriage subsection) and population, and if you have it, woohoo.
    The site's documentation is epic, if you run into trouble or want to know more, I recommend looking under the spoiler buttons on the description page. It's FULL of info.

  • Thank you :-) I clicked the MC command under the computer. I looked under Pregnancy and population but I wasn't sure what I am supposed to do to disable it. Should I just remove the mod? If anyone knows, if not I guess the easiest thing is just to remove it.

  • You can set the Marriage percent and Pregnancy percent (adjustments) both to -100 to have neither happen.
    Check both submenus carefully, SOME options are present in both since Deaderpool separated some of the marriage options out from the pregnancy tie-ins.
    Depending on what you want to do, the EASIEST thing would probably be to remove the mc_pregnancy module. You'll still see settings for it, but without that in, changes won't do anything, and none of those routines will happen. I'd suggest deleting your localthumbcache file if you do that, too. Things do snag, sometimes.
    IF you try that and get errors, let me know. I always run with all of it in, but there are players who pick and choose parts and I rarely hear of issues.. but if there are any, he fixes those. (Example, when Occult first debuted, Pregnancy had to be installed for some parts to work. Fixed with the next update, 'module'=ONE, not combo. LOL!)
    Is this better? I'm sorry I couldn't be more detailed earlier, I was literally OMW out the door but wanted to give you SOMETHING.

  • I'm having the same problem, but I don't see marriages in my mod. I just started playing an hour ago only to find a sim married who I didn't want married yet, so how do I stop my game marrying off my sims?? please.
  • ok I found it, and it is all on NO, but my sim still got married when I wasn't playing her. I have played her and the last time was a few days ago and she was living with a teen and a baby. now she is married.
  • silly me, I just went into manage worlds and it seems I have two of the same sim. my mistake. I forgot I already had Candy in my game and went and downloaded her again. I must be getting old.
