the computer shows that local area connection is active but i cannot browse or connect to any page in the internet.
have tried the setting for 'obtain an IP address automatically', and also tried specifiying ip adress manually as instructed but did not help. i must be doing something wrong. a step by step instructions will be greatly appreciated by a dummy like me.
